20 years has certainly flown by!  I did 4 years in the Army after High School and spent most of that time overseas in Germany and did a tour during the first Gulf War.  I headed into the IT field after the Army and have spent the better part of the last 15 years as an IT Consultant, the last 6 of which as the Manager of Professional Services for a company in Tinley Park.  I spent about 10 years in Mokena and in 2003 moved to Frankfort.  I am single with no kids, but I do play daddy to Jake, my 18m old English Mastiff puppy.  He tips the scales at 150# and still has another year of growing.  
About 2 years ago, I heard the calling again for the Service and went into the National Guard, and as fate would have it, I am deploying in September to Afghanistan.
I spend most of my free time on my motorcycle or playing with Jake.  I have done a few cross country trips on the bike and love every minute I spend on the bike. 
I will definatley make it to Fat Sams Friday night but the Reunion on Saturday is still up in the air, Ill be in Wisconson Saturday and am not sure what time Ill be back in town - if I can I will show up!

I moved around a lot in the '90s but have settled in the Washington DC area and work as a clinical psychologist. Life is good.

Hello class of '88!  I missed the 10 year reunion, so I am looking forward to the 20 year!  After graduating from NIU, I worked in advertising for 7 years... for the last 9 years I've been in the real estate title industry (yawn).  But, I have a wonderful husband Dave Drabek (LTHS class of 83) and 3 beautiful daughters Cassidy 9, Corynn 7 and Celine 2 that make life fun and interesting.  The furthest I moved from Lockport was Crest Hill and Joliet.  Now we are back in Lockport.  We drive by Lockport East and my girls say, "is that where you went to school, mom?"  I say "yes, but it didn't look like that!"  Oh, and I decided to go back to school and be a High School Business Teacher.  I guess I must have liked high school.  See you this summer!

I can’t believe it’s been 20 years – but the gray hairs don’t lie.  After graduating from LTHS, I went to college at John Carroll University in Ohio, then to Penn State and University of Chicago for graduate school in economics.  I married a man I met at Penn State and we have two fabulous girls – Catherine (4) and Clare (2).  I’ve lived in Philadelphia, Chicago and have now settled in Naperville (i.e., Diaperville).  While I’d like to be a professional student, I had to face reality and get a job, so I develop marketing and media research models for The Nielsen Company.  In what little free time I have, I enjoy sailing, volunteering at a DuPage County homeless shelter, and swimming with a local masters team.  I’m still in touch with Sue (Pawlowski) Rohner and Malinda (Johnson) Willis on a fairly regular basis.  It’s been great seeing what so many have been up to these last 20 years.

A brief overview of the last 20 years... I graduated from NIU with my Masters in Speech Language Pathology. During that time, I met Michael, my husband. We have been married for nearly 14 years and have 3 wonderful children: Collin (8 years), Megan (6 years), and Ryan (4 years.) After college I worked in the school system and also did home health care part-time. For the past 8 years, I have provided services through the early intervention program for children birth to three years old.

I'm truly sorry I won't be able to make the reunion...especially after seeing so many of my old friends on the list. Hope everyone has a wonderful time!

20 years has really flow by. I've been living in the San Jose, CA area for the past 9 years. After grad school I took up a staff research position at Stanford Univ. I've been married for almost 6 years. I have TWO boys, 3 1/2 yrs and the youngest was born 3/21/08 :).

Hi Everyone!!  It was great reading the updates...everyone looks wonderful!  I live in Vegas with my husband Mace and three children, John Michael 12, Mitchell 9 and Kristiana 7.  I have been blessed to have the means from my husband's Law Firm and prior good investments to be able to be a stay home Mom.  However I do utilize my degrees by consulting for the Law Firm and volunteering my time for the school district to aid children in need.  

We LOVE travel especially Central America and Western Europe.  If anyone is up to scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, zip lining Costa Rica or rock climbing Utah...give us a call!! 

I'd love to see any of you if you make it to Las Vegas...If you do get into any legal trouble while you are here, or have a few too many and marry a stranger we'd be more than happy to help with the annulment etc...LOL

I live in Portland, OR. I moved here in 94'. Got my BS from Portland State in 2001.  I've been married to a wonderfull man I met on Myspace since 06' and have a beautiful daughter, Jovi that was born in Aug of 07. Plus we just found out we're expecting again due date in Jan. I've been working for Starbucks for 11 years and love it..  My husband is getting his masters in Social work and once he graduates I will become a stay at home mom. sorry to say we can't come back for the big event. Hope everyone has a great time. Wish I could be there.
